  18. this-is-where-the-fish-live said: The other takeaway from these stories is DOCTORS CAN BE WRONG. People seem to forget that “doctor” is a job and most people “meet expectations” at their jobs. Meaning yes, even doctors do the bare-ass minimum and then pile all the fatphobia, bigotry, sexism, racism, etc into that. I can’t stress enough to SELF-ADVOCATE because hell of a lot of doctors are NOT going to go beyond the obvious/bare minimum unless you light a fire under their ass.
